ESG in Construction Law (19 May 2026)
ESG in Construction Law — Seminar Successfully Concluded!
The Society of Construction Law - Singapore was delighted to host our seminar on "ESG in Construction Law" on 19 May 2026. The session proved to be a thought-provoking and timely discussion on one of the most significant emerging issues in our industry.
The seminar explored how ESG is reshaping the legal and commercial landscape of construction — moving beyond a standalone sustainability exercise into a fundamental project risk allocation issue that cuts across the entire project lifecycle.
Our speakers Mr. Anil Changaroth and Ar. Catherine Loke examined the fragmentation of responsibility across project participants and the growing gap between measuring genuine sustainability outcomes and mere compliance with frameworks.
We extend our sincere thanks to our distinguished speakers and moderator Ms. Lesley Tan for generously sharing their expertise and insights, and for sparking such an engaging exchange with our audience. We are also grateful to all attendees for their active participation and thoughtful questions.
The Society looks forward to continuing the conversation on ESG and other pressing topics in construction law. Stay tuned for details of our upcoming events.
