Construction Law 101 (8th Run!) (Session 1 to 4) (26, 31 October, 02, 07 November 2017)
The Construction Law 101 Course had a very successful 8th run in October and November 2017. Originally conceived by stalwart of the Singapore construction law community Mr Mohan Pillay (Managing Partner, MPillay and Joint Head of Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP) back in 2010, when he was Chair of the Society of Construction Law (Singapore), this course continues to draw a good number of registrations despite having been delivered seven times before.
As with previous years, the course was run over four evenings (on the 26th and 30th of October, and the 2nd and 7th of November 2017), and was attended by over 30 delegates, drawn from various constituencies of the construction industry, which is not surprising since the course appeals to practitioners in the construction industry interested in the basic principles of construction law. Although principally designed for non-lawyers in the construction industry, there has consistently been a good level of interest from lawyers seeking an introduction to construction law.
