International Entry Course 2007 (18-19 Aug 2007) - Arbitration Law & Practice
Members of the Society of
Construction Law (Singapore) are invited to attend the International
Entry Course 2007jointly organised by Singapore Institute of
Arbitrators and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified professional persons for the International Entry Course. Candidates who pass the Course may, subject to satisfying other relevant criteria, qualify for admission as a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators; and, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom.
The Course will cover subjects including Arbitration Agreements, Appointment of Arbitrators, Preliminary Meetings, Pleadings, Powers and Jurisdiction of Arbitrators, Arbitration Procedure, Awards, Costs, International Arbitrations. It will conclude with a Written Examination on the following Saturday, 25 August 2007.
